Arroyo Energy Investment Partners, LLC has an opening for a Senior Associate in Spring, TX
Duties include:
- Support the operations of the Latin American investment team in originating, screening and recommending new investment opportunities in digital and energy infrastructure;
- Assess investment opportunities by analyzing the electric power markets, including analyzing governmental and regulatory agencies, and their regulations and processes, in Latin American countries;
- Lead the development of in-depth financial models and investment memorandum for investment decision opportunities;
- Lead the ongoing financial analysis and commercial initiatives for investment portfolio assets;
- Refine the methods in which to best manage existing energy infrastructure assets by performing detailed operational and financial analyses identifying and mitigating potential risks and threats and identifying and pursuing opportunities;
- Perform due diligence on the U.S. and South American financial/economic markets to assist in financial/investment decision-making;
- Assess and analyze attractiveness of investment opportunity by analyzing the financial aspects of digital and energy infrastructure assets;
- Identify and gather data of portfolio investments and standardize financial modeling reports;
- Articulate investment growth strategies for the company;
- Lead portions of the deal execution and diligence processes;
- Domestic and primarily international travel approximately 25-50% of total time to meet with regulatory and government entities, potential clients and counterparties, advisors and other investment firms, to attend energy conferences and to visit company assets.
Requirements: Employer requires, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree, or U.S. equivalent, in Business, Economics, Finance or a closely related field and 48 months of experience as an investment associate, investment analyst, or related occupation. Experience should include:
- 48 months of experience performing financial analysis to assist in investment/financial decision-making in Latin American markets.
- 48 months of experience with financial diligence in Latin American markets.
- 48 months of experience conducting due diligence for investment opportunities and developing financial models for decision-making purposes.
- 36 months of experience in client communication and management.
- 36 months of experience developing memorandums, pitches, or marketing materials to draw in investors.
- 24 months of experience with energy infrastructure industries specifically in the Latin American market.
