Marcelo Sada Zuazua joined Arroyo in early 2018 and has eight years of experience in the Private Equity and Investment Banking industries. Prior to Arroyo, Mr. Sada worked in Scotiabank Mexico Investment Bank where he focused in the Power Generation industry in Mexico and LatAm. While at Scotiabank, Mr. Sada was responsible for advising UK based private equity firm, Actis in their $1.3bn acquisition of Intergen Mexico (2.2 GW). Prior to joining Scotiabank, Mr. Sada worked at UBS and Temasek Holdings based in Mexico City, where he executed private and public equity transactions including $300m investment in Grupo Financiero Banorte and $80m investment in LifeMiles Corp. (Avianca’s airline loyalty program). Mr. Sada graduated from the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business in 2021 with a Master’s in Business Administration . Mr. Sada graduated from the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey with a BS in Industrial Engineering along with a minor in Systems. Mr. Sada has also spent time studying abroad at the London School of Economics.
