Eugenio J. Cárdenas joined Arroyo in 2026 as Senior Counsel. Prior to Arroyo, Mr. Cárdenas was an attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP, where he represented private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and public and private companies on debt financings in connection with acquisitions, securities offerings, restructurings, and other corporate transactions. His practice focused primarily on the energy, power, and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Cárdenas is also a licensed attorney in Mexico, where he practiced before coming to the United States. Mr. Cárdenas received degrees from Stanford Law School (J.S.D., J.S.M.), Harvard Law School (LL.M.), Thunderbird School of Global Management (M.B.A.), and Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey (LL.B.).
